About Us
Miyagigakuin Women’s University Golden Z Club is an organization of students
belonging to various departments at Miyagi Gakuin Women’s University.
Like other Golden Z Clubs around the world, we are sponsored by a local Zonta Club.
Sendai I Zonta Club sponsors us in an effort to help us develop leadership
skills, promote career exploration, and to participate in community, school, and
international service projects.

In 2015, we became the first Golden Z Club in the Tohoku area of Japan. As a
new organization, our main projects at the moment are related to conveying
information about Miyagi Prefecture in English from the viewpoint of us young
women. We hope that our activities will make more people interested in Miyagi.
There are about 20 active members, and we welcome anyone who wants to join us in telling the world more about Miyagi in English! In addition to our main
projects, we have special, one-time events.
